Ever had a hard time shopping your closet? What I meant by that is picking which ones to wear. Either for going to school / university or to work … it takes some time to choose. Unlike some people I know, it is quite easy to just pick whatever. Back in the day I used to be like that, but ever since I started out fashion blogging I became more conscious on what I choose to wear. Something that describes my personality or mood. Where I don’t have to be an eyesore but not a wall-flower neither.

In my perspective, the brand doesn’t really matter. The right clothing is what really makes a difference. A typical shirt can be worn a lot of times and can still look different in so many way with the help of accessories like scarf, shawl, vest, blazers and so on. Same ides goes for the bottom. One of my top picks would be wrap skirt like sarong where it can come in different print and color. It can be worn as a typical skirt and can also work as a tube dress and more. Just knowing what you have is all that matters. Experiment on mixing and matching. Eventually a whole new look can be created out of the old ones.

Don’t be discouraged with new things … even if printed wrap skirts isn’t your thing. Giving things a try is a way to adapt to the new trends. After all, fashion will always evolve to something different.

Dip Dyed Hair Trend

Lately I have been meaning to change up my boring hairstyle to something more fun and diverse. There’s lots of hairspiration photographs floating all over tumblr. I can’t help but adore and envy those who tried out something new with their hair. Out of all the possibilities I have been keeping my eye on pastel hair color, ombre two toned shade and dip dyed tips. I’ve decided to try out the last one and bleached the tips of my hair …

As you can see on the photos above, it turned out looking lovely! I really love how it gave my hair a two toned look. Almost like ombre except this isn’t a combination of black and light color. I really wanted a blonder finish on my tips but I have to give my hair some time to adjust from the chemicals. I had to apply bleach twice on my tips which made my hair feel a little stretchy right after. So I made sure to apply rejuvenating cream and deep treatment conditioner to help the tips of my hair become healthy again.

In about two weeks my hair went back to its healthy state and for now I am keeping it as is. Most likely I’ll wait two to three more weeks before I re-bleach my ends. After all I’m already happy on how it turned out. Every once in a while that I feel like changing up my hair temporarily, I can always go for human hair wigs and easily switch back to my two toned hair without a hassle. With a well made wig I can keep my unique hair color and still be able to achieve natural looking one toned hair.
